CBG drops – Uses and Benefits

CBG or CANNABIGEROL is another of a multitude of cannabinoids that can be obtained from cannabis. It is found in only about 1% of the adult plant, but its content is significantly higher in younger plants, as CBG is converted into other cannabinoids, such as THC and CBD, as the plant grows. We say that the CBG molecule is a precursor of other cannabinoids. Because of this, many have crowned CBG as the father of all cannabinoids. To obtain this increasingly valued compound, young hemp plants are needed.

This property of cannabigerol makes the extraction of this ingredient more difficult, and as a result, studies on its effect on the functioning of our endocrine system have only recently been conducted. Scientists have found that, unlike CBD, it binds more easily to cannabinoid receptors in our body, so it has a beneficial effect on health even when ingested in small amounts.

The studies they have done so far confirm its exceptional antioxidant value and can be compared to the effect of vitamin E. So after consuming it, we can expect more beautiful skin, nails and hair.

CBG binds to both receptors of the endocrine system and thus increases motivation and well-being in humans. It also regulates appetite and sleep, and reduces pain. Similar to CBD, CBG is used to relieve anxiety and depression.

For medical purposes, CBG is used to help with various intestinal ailments. It has been particularly shown in relieving the problems of chronic incurable intestinal diseases. For many cancer patients, however, it relieved nausea and restored appetite during chemotherapy treatment. In a study conducted in 2014 on rats with bowel cancer, CBG slowed the growth of cancer cells, suggesting the possibility of fighting bowel cancer with the help of this cannabinoid. Above all, the use of CBG as a preventative for cancer is recommended.

CBG also has remarkable antibacterial potential. It has especially proven itself in the fight against the MRSA bacterium, which is resistant to known antibiotics.

Due to all the positive properties of CBG, we at Erbetix decided that this increasingly popular cannabinoid should be a mandatory part of our offer. Like all our products, it is made under strict control and complies with all European regulations. You can find it here.
